I have to admit, it's hard when the alarm clock goes off at 5 am and it's dark and cold out, but without fail, every Saturday morning, one of us will rouse the other, put the kettle on, and soon everything is better with a warm maté in hand.
Selling at the farmers market has been a fun project for the past month now. I used to frequent the market before we had a stand, but now that I'm there every week I'm getting to see this little market blossom into quite the social scene. I love seeing new faces become familiar friends, and trying out all the vendors I never had the chance to when I was just buying my produce.
In Byron, this past summer, every week we went to a farmers market. I was blown away by the amount of vendors and creativity that went into some of the stalls, and now slowly but surely, it seems Maui is starting to catch on! If you haven't had the chance to check us out yet, please do! Let’s support out local economy!
