A few shots of some shared precious moments in our garden with freshly harvested veggies. Quinn's absolute favourite activity, is picking and harvesting veggies and fruit for careful tactile identification. He is at that toddler age where everything must be touched, licked, and munched. Often we would find him at our tomato bush, plucking and smooshing tomatoes in his mouth and leaving their battered skins on our path way.
Both of his parents eat local and organic which means Quinn does not know any other way. I've seen him wander to an Aloe Vera plant, snap a leaf off and much away happily, leaving a trail of slime with his fingers. For those of you that don't know, Aloe is extremely bitter, myself included would not eat Aloe for fun.
I love it! Watching a barefoot child stoked to be set in a garden with all sorts of yummy edibles around.
This is the Future. This is Now.
